About Cord
Cord Blomquist is the New Media Manager at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.
Prior to joining Mercatus, Cord held a number of positions at the Competitive Enterprise Institute where he wrote tech policy issues such as censorship, competition policy, and network regulation.
Cord has appeared on nationally syndicated radio programs such as The Thom Hartmann Program and The G. Gordon Liddy Show. He has been featured on C-SPAN’s “The Communicators,” a weekly series featuring a half-hour interview with the people who shape our digital future.
He has been cited by CNET News, The Wall Street Journal’s All Things D, ArsTechnica, and TechDirt.
Cord is a contributor to the Technology Liberation Front, the free market technology blog.
Cord earned his B.A. in philosophy from the University Minnesota.
